Daniel 04:20
Daniel Words and music by Elton John and Bernie Taupin Copyright Universal-Songs of Polygrm o/b/o Dick James Music Ltd. Daniel is traveling tonight on a plane I can see the red tail-lights heading for Spain I can see Daniel waving goodbye, God it looks like Daniel Must be the clouds in my eyes They say Spain is pretty though I’ve never been. Daniel says it’s the best place he’s ever, ever seen He should know he’s been there enough. Lord I miss Daniel Oh, I miss him so much Oh-oh, Daniel my brother you are older than me Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won’t heal Your eyes have died, but you see more than I Daniel you’re a star in the face of the sky Daniel is traveling tonight on a plane I can see the red tail-lights heading for Spain I can see Daniel waving goodbye, God it looks like Daniel, Must be the clouds in my eyes Oh God it looks like Daniel, Must be the clouds in my eyes

On The Morning Of Creation Words and Music by Glenn Diamond Copyright © 1986 Paradise Park Music (ASCAP) On the morning of creation the heavens with joy did ring The oceans sang in celebration of the goodness life would bring But now the world is veiled in darkness and no brother knows his own In the night that is upon us all are strangers, each alone Sit down, mama, let me share in your sorrow Let your tears fall, don't hide the pain Something tells me that by this time tomorrow We will ride that slow and holy train And the world will have learned to love again Will we learn for each other to feel at home on the Earth The time has come to discover just exactly what it's worth The call comes ringing down the ages, can you touch the soul of Man And though there's blood on history's pages we're still seeking the promised land Chorus The call comes ringing down the ages, can you touch the soul of Man And though there's blood on history's pages we're still seeking the promised land Chorus

Get Together 06:10
Get Together By Dino Valenti Copyright Irving Music, Inc. Love is but a song we sing, Fear’s the way we die You can make the mountains ring Or make the angels cry Know that love is on the wing And you may not know why C’mon, people now, smile on your brother Everybody get together Try to love one another right now Some may come and some may go We will surely pass When the one who left us here Returns for us at last We are but a moment’s sunlight Fading in the grass Chorus If you hear the song I sing You will understand You hold the key to love and fear All in your trembling hand One key unlocks them both It’s there at your command Chorus

Reason to Believe By Tim Hardin Copyright EMI Glenwood Music Corporation If I listened long enough to you I’d find a way to believe that it’s all true Knowing that you lied, straight-faced while I cried Still I’d look to find a reason to believe Someone like you makes it hard to live without somebody else Someone like you makes it easy to give, and never think of myself If I gave you time to change my mind I’d find a way to leave the past behind Knowing that you lied, straight-faced while I cried Still I’d look to find a reason to believe Someone like you makes it hard to live without somebody else Someone like you makes it easy to give, and never think of myself If I listened long enough to you I’d find a way to believe that it’s all true Knowing that you lied, straight-faced while I cried Still I’d look to find a reason to believe ...

The Señorita Song (Sooner or Later) Words and Music by Glenn Diamond Copyright ¬© 1986 Paradise Park Music (ASCAP) There was a time when I thought that for every ounce of my devotion A heart out there somewhere would echo with love But as I watch the years just roll by it seems a fanciful notion And now I no longer know what I'm sure of I'm runnin' to her, she's runnin' to him Oh, why can't we see the mess that we're in And on the evenings you came crying, do your remember what you were saying? That it was over and time to move on Well, I know the tears were real but it was a game that you were playing And I'm getting tired of being your pawn I'm runnin' to her, she's runnin' to him Oh, why can't we see the mess that we're in Love is the answer say all the wise men Fear not to give your heart away Keeping track -- I don't believe it but I'm holding on Sooner or later she's coming my way Love is the answer say all the wise men Fear not to give your heart away I know what you're thinking but I won't hold on Sooner or later she's coming my way So when that morning sun comes rising I'm running down into the ocean Feel those cleansing waters wash over me And I'll watch those waves go rolling by in perpetual motion While the rivers sing me in sweet harmony The wires get crossed, but love's never lost Someday we'll see the mess that we're in

London Homesick Blues By Gary P. Nunn Copyright Nunn Publishing Co Inc. Well, when you’re down on your luck and you ain’t got a buck In London you’re a goner When even London Bridge has fallen down And moved to Arizona – now I know why And I’ll substantiate the rumor that the English sense of humor Is drier than than the Texas sand You can put up your dukes and you can bet your boots That I’ll be leavin’ just as fast as I can I wanna go home with the armadillos Good country music from Amarillo and Abilene The friendliest people and the prettiest women you ever seen Well, it’s cold over here and I swear I wish they’d turn the heat on And where in the world is that English girl I promised I would meet on the third floor? And of the whole damn lot the only friend I got Is a smoke and a cheap guitar My mind keeps roamin’ my heart keeps longin’ To be home in a Texas bar CHORUS Well, I decided that I’d get my cowboy hat And go down to Marble Arch Station ‘Cause when a Texan fancies he’ll take his chances Chances will be taken – that’s for sure And them limey eyes they were eyein’ the prize That some people call manly footwear And they said, “You’re from down South “And when you open your mouth “You always seem to put your foot there” CHORUS

For What It's Worth By Stephen Stills Copyright Warner-Tamerlane Pub Corp. There’s something happening here But what it is ain’t exactly clear There’s a man with a gun over there Telling me I’ve got to beware It’s time we stop — hey, what’s that sound Everybody look what’s going down There’s battle lines being drawn Nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong Young people speaking their minds Getting so much resistance from behind CHORUS What a field day for the heat Must be a thousand people in the street Singing songs and a-carrying signs Mostly say “Hooray For Our Side” CHORUS Paranoia strikes deep Into your lives it will creep It starts when you’re always afraid Step outta line — The Man comes and takes you away CHORUS

Sara (The Sound Of Rain) Words and Music by Glenn Diamond Copyright © 1986 Paradise Park Music (ASCAP) Ever since I was a young man I have tried to steer my way Between the glory of the stars and the troubles of my day Now a new storm is coming, I can feel it on the rise And the glory I'm needing is the light in your eyes There's an aching in my heart, there's a crying in the land And, Lord knows, I'm trying to understand Sara, please be mine tonight Can I lay by your side 'til the morning light If I can hear your heart beat it'll be alright Sarah, please be mine tonight When I wake up in the morning and hear the sound of rain It feels like a mystery no one can explain Just from where comes the darkness, and where comes the dawn How do I know when it's time to move on I'm alone on the mountain, I'm alone in the crowd Love -- it's a myst'ry to humble the proud Chorus Keeping up with your dreams and I'm running out of breath But looking backwards, that's the kiss of death Yes, I hear what you're saying, and I know that it's true The day is coming when our judgement is due We'll be cleansed of the madness, or broken by our fear The choice, it's ours, and the time is near Chorus

about

Recorded live on May 1st, 2021 during Chris and Misty's wedding* this was the first time the four of us had been able to play together since the lockdown began in March, 2020, and we'd never played these songs as a group.

*Actually, we recorded this at Steve's while the wedding was taking place next door. :-)
